INTERNATIONAL USERS

The Service is controlled, operated and administered by RTIQI from our offices within the USA. If you access the Service from a location outside the USA, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. You agree that you will not use RTIQI Content accessed through the Website in any country or in any manner prohibited by any applicable laws, restrictions or regulations.

INDEMNIFICATION

RTIQI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your enrollment in any Courses and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, and you hereby consent to resolve any and all disputes arising under or related to this Website or the Terms of Use pursuant to the Arbitration Clause above. Use of the Website is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these Terms, including, without limitation, this section.

NO JOINT VENTURE OR OTHER RELATIONSHIP

You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and RTIQI as a result of this agreement or use of the Website. RTIQI’s performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of RTIQI’s right to comply with governmental, court, and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the Website or information provided to or gathered by the RTIQI with respect to such use. Conditions of Enrollment

Red Thread Institute reserves the right to refuse enrollment or to cancel enrollment at any time based on student qualifications, personal conduct, academic performance, or by determination of its instructors, officers, or appointees.

RTIQI’s programs were born out of a desire to see training with integrity for people who are sincere in their aspiration to truly transform their lives. They are for those who are willing to be earnest in their discipline to overcome perceived limitations and become the best version of themselves possible.

While we invest a great deal of time, effort, and care in designing our curriculum, we recognize that our programs may not be appropriate for every individual. We encourage prospective students to consider their decision to enroll with the same level of care and thought.

If you have questions about whether a particular Course or Program is a good fit, we are happy to schedule a conversation prior to enrollment.

Because enrollment is limited, early registration is encouraged. Please do not make travel arrangements until you have registered and have been notified that a Course is a “Go.”

Registration & Payment

Registration confirms your space in a Course or Program. Enrollment is not considered complete until the required payment has been received.


Professional Certification Programs
A $1,200 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of acceptance and registration. The remaining tuition balance is due prior to the start of the Program, according to the payment schedule provided.

Non-Certification In-Person Courses
Full tuition payment is due at the time of registration. These Courses do not require or accept deposits.

Once payment has been received, you will receive an email confirmation of your registration.

When a Course has met minimum enrollment and is designated a “Go,” additional logistical information and, where applicable, an invoice for any remaining balance will be sent prior to the Course start date. Final payments may be made online through the invoice portal or by phone appointment, payable in U.S. funds.

Repeat Enrollment

Alumni wishing to retake a Course at the approved Repeat Rate must confirm availability prior to registration. Repeat enrollment is subject to space availability and administrative approval.

Course Progression & Completion

Students are generally expected to complete all required didactic coursework at a given level before continuing to subsequent levels in progressive programs. Concurrent enrollment may be permitted only by written request and formal approval.

Certification Programs are expected to be completed within 12 months of the official start date. Requests for extended time or re-entry after an absence must be submitted in writing and are subject to approval. Approval for return or continued training is not guaranteed.

Tuition Payment, Withdrawal, Transfer & Refund Policies

Space in our In-Person Courses and Certification Programs is limited. Enrollment reserves a seat that requires advance logistical planning, faculty commitment, and administrative preparation. For this reason, all payments and withdrawal requests are governed by the policies below.

All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing prior to the commencement of the enrolled Course or Program.

There are no exceptions to these policies. Red Thread Institute is not responsible for cancellations due to medical, personal, professional, or other emergencies.

Should Red Thread Institute cancel a Course, all tuition and deposits paid will be refunded in full. Red Thread Institute is not responsible for reimbursement of non-refundable travel, lodging, or related expenses. We strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation/travel insurance.

Payments & Deposits

A deposit or payment in full (where applicable) is required at the time of registration to reserve a seat in any Course or Program.

Deposits are not tuition.
A deposit secures enrollment and administrative processing and is applied toward tuition only upon Course commencement. Deposits are governed by the withdrawal and refund policies below and are non-refundable except where explicitly stated.

All payments must be made through our website using an accepted credit card.

Application Based Enrollment

Professional Certification Programs (including Insight Qigong™ Teacher Training and Medical Qigong Professional Certification Programs) are application-based.

Acceptance into a program and payment of the required deposit constitute final enrollment.

If an applicant is not accepted, all payments made will be refunded in full.

Completion Timeframe

Certification Programs are expected to be completed within 12 months of the official start date.

Students who take an extended absence or exceed this timeframe must schedule an evaluation with the instructor to determine eligibility for re-entry. Re-entry is not guaranteed.

Repeat Rate

A student may repeat a Course at a 50% tuition reduction, subject to space availability. This reduction applies to tuition only and does not apply to deposits, food, lodging, or retreat packages.

Grace Period (In-Person & Live Courses Only)

A 48-hour grace period applies to new registrations for In-Person Courses and Live Trainings, provided the request is made within 48 hours of registration and prior to Course commencement.

Refunds during the grace period are issued less a $75 administrative fee and any applicable processing fees.

Deposits & Application Withdrawal

Upon acceptance into a Professional Certification Program, the deposit becomes non-refundable.

If an applicant withdraws prior to scheduling an interview, the deposit will be refunded less a $75 administrative fee and any processing fees.

If an applicant declines enrollment at the time of interview, the deposit will be refunded less a $75 administrative fee and any processing fees.

Tuition Transfers & Transfer Credit

Red Thread Institute does not offer tuition transfers, course deferments, or transfer credit of any kind.

Tuition and deposits may not be transferred to another Course, Program, cohort, or calendar year.

All enrollment decisions are course-specific and time-bound. Withdrawal from a Course results in withdrawal from that specific enrollment only and does not create a credit or transferable balance.

Course withdrawal and refund policies

In-Person Courses & Live Trainings

Once a Course has met minimum enrollment and is designated a “Go,” participants will receive a statement of account with any remaining balance due.

Failure to pay the remaining balance by the stated due date may result in withdrawal from the Course with no refund.

If Red Thread Institute cancels a Course, all tuition and deposits will be refunded in full.

In-Person Courses (Non-Certification Programs)

This policy applies to standalone in-person courses, including immersives, retreats, and intensives that are not part of a Professional Certification Program and do not require a deposit.

• Withdrawal more than 60 days prior to the Course start date
Red Thread Institute will refund all payments made, less a $175 administrative fee and any transactional fees charged by our credit processor.

• Withdrawal 60 days or fewer prior to the Course start date
No refund will be issued.

If there is a waitlisted participant who is able to fill the vacated seat, Red Thread Institute may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund of payments made less the $175 administrative fee and any transactional fees charged by our credit processor.

The only exception to this policy is the 48-hour Grace Period, as outlined above.

Professional Certification Programs

• Withdrawal more than 65 days prior to the start date:
Refund of tuition paid less deposit, a $75 administrative fee, and processing fees.

• Withdrawal within 60 days of the start date or after commencement:
No refund.

Cancelled Enrollment by the Institute

If, after Course commencement, Red Thread Institute determines that a student’s enrollment must be cancelled for academic, ethical, safety, or conduct-related reasons, no tuition or deposit payments will be refunded.

Online Courses & Course Materials

  • Insight Qigong Online Immersion: Because this Course provides immediate access to its full digital content, no refunds are available once a user has accessed the Course.

  • Live Online Courses: Do to the nature of, and immediate access to complete course digital content, there are no refunds granted for these Courses / Programs once they begin. Please see course withdrawal (prior to commencement) and grace period policies as outlined above.

Course Access After Completion Of Live Webinars (Self Mastery series, Medical Qigong Professional Certification Programs)

For live webinars, students will have access to lecture recordings for three weeks following course completion.

Those looking to receive CEs / PDAs must attend all live sessions.

Course Access After Purchase Of Insight Qigong Online Immersion

Access for the "Lifetime of the Insight Qigong Onilne Immersion course" means that once you purchase access to the Insight Qigong Online Immersion course, you will be able to view its materials for as long as the course remains available on the platform, until such time as the course is removed by Red Thread Institute or the platform no longer exists.

LIABILITY WAIVER ASSUMPTION OF RISK, ACCIDENT WAIVER & RELEASE

I HEARBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATING IN ANY/ALL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS EVENT, including any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, leased, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault.

I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently prepared or trained for participation in this activity, and have not been advised to not participate by a qualified medical professional. I certify that there are no health related reasons or conditions that preclude my participation in this activity. I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability will be used by the event holders, sponsors, and organizers of this activity in which I may participate and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities at said activity. In consideration of my application and permitting me to participate in this activity, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:

(A) I WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me including my traveling to and from this activity, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: RED THREAD INSTITUTE and/or their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents, and the activity holders, sponsors, and volunteers;

(B) INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the entities or persons mentioned in this document form any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. I agree that if necessary, any and all disputes will be handled through an arbitration process designated by RED THREAD INSTITUTE under jurisdiction of, and in accordance with Colorado State law.

I acknowledge that RED THREAD INSTITUTE and their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives, and agents are NOT responsible for the errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any party or entity conducting or supporting a specific activity on their behalf.

I acknowledge that this activity requires physical and mental fitness and carries with it a potential for serious injury, and/or property loss. The risks include, but are not limited to those caused by physical and mental activity, facilities, weather, conditions of other participants, volunteers, monitors, and/or producers of the activity. I hereby consent to receive medical treatment if deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during this activity/event.

I understand that while participating in this activity, I may be photographed. I agree to allow photographs, video (digital or film) of me and/or my likeness, in whole or in part, to be used for any legitimate purpose at the discretion of the activity holders, producers, sponsors, organizers, and assigns.

Agreement to this assumption of risk, waiver, and release constitutes an electronic signature in which I certify that I have read this document and fully understand its content. I am aware that this includes a release of liability and a contract to which through acknowledgement of agreement I effectively sign of my own free will.
