It is a progressive deep-dive into the material, but is open to beginning students and will provide you with everything you need to tailor a Medical Qigong practice to your specific needs:

This training, however, is ultimately designed for working health care clinicians and practitioners of healing arts. So if that is your background or a path of interest--this may be where you start!

For those that are ready, we offer the Insight Qigong Teacher training.

The minimum prerequisite for acceptance into this program is completion of the Insight Qigong® online immersion course. Candidates for the teacher training should be able to demonstrate a strong Insight Qigong practice.

Learning Qigong and teaching Qigong are uniquely different skill-sets.

Our teacher training program is just that—the essential and indispensable training specific to becoming a truly competent, qualified—and safe—Qigong teacher.

In this respect, the training provides a foundation that can be applied to any form. However, as we use Insight Qigong as vehicle for the training, it is required that you are proficient in this form to be accepted into the program.

Online Courses

ALL of our matriculated programs (Professional Medical Qigong Certification, Insight Qigong Teacher training) include both online and required in-person experiential intensives. This is necessary to achieve the level of competency (and safety) we require of our graduates.

There is a quality of transmission that occurs in-person for which there is no substitute.

Currently all in-person courses are held at Red Thread Institute in Carbondale, Colorado, USA.

Insight Qigong

If you are interested in Health Qigong (Qigong designed to achieve general good health and wellbeing), we would recommend the Insight Qigong program. The Insight Qigong program is full of invaluable theory and application to establish and grow a personal practice. We offer this as in-person trainings and also in an online format.

The program is designed to be easily accessible for anyone and everyone. The online immersion course is prerecorded and over the course of 12 weeks you will learn the Insight Qigong set with theory, instruction and detailed breakdown of each posture—providing you with a complete and rich practice that will last you a lifetime.

Self Mastery

The Medical Qigong For Self Mastery program is for those interested in more in-depth explorations of the Medical / Health applications of Qigong. It is a progressive (each module builds upon the last) deep-dive into the material, and is open to beginning students.

This training will provide you with everything you need to tailor a Medical Qigong practice for your specific health needs and desired outcomes.

The Self Mastery series is taught online in a live-webinar format, with supporting materials, and videos. Each module is approximately a week long and new material and depth is brought to each one.

The culmination of the series (S4) is a 3 day in-person intensive that solidifies and refines the practice in ways that are otherwise unavailable in an online format.

This series is very much for those who are ready to embody their own self-cultivation practice in a deep and profound way.

All courses that have a prerequisite (listed in “course details”) may only be enrolled in once said requirement is met.

All progressive programs / trainings are carefully designed and structured to provide the richest and most rewarding experience possible.

While we value your prior experience, due to the incredibly varied nature of trainings available we cannot reasonably assume that your particular background meets the specific expectation of our prerequisites.

Besides, as anyone with quality and thorough training will recognize—there is extraordinary value in revisiting foundational principles.
