Why Advanced Chinese Medicine Theory For Medical Qigong?

Theory For The Advanced Medical Qigong Practitioner

Chinese Medicine has a history spanning thousands of years.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a 20th-century term (yes, really!) that’s indicative of the cultural changes that occurred in modern China.

TCM is largely a distillation of what was strictly quantifiable within what was otherwise believed an arcane and even archaic medicine.

Where Qigong theory embraces the empirical and esoteric, TCM values the theoretical and objective approaches to understanding.

This course bridges the gap between Chinese Medicine theory and Qigong principles.

Why This Course?

While the theory between TCM and Qigong share common ancestry, there has been divergence over time.

Time and culture has largely divested TCM of the esoteric, and conversely much Qigong has been denuded of its grounding in logic and theory.

As a Qigong student, studying TCM completes the Chinese Medicine picture.

One without the other is only a partial education (like yin without yang or vice versa…).

Studying the theory is key to understanding the detailed diagnostic skills that are necessary for someone practicing Qigong to become an actual—and competent—Medical Qigong Practitioner.

Here You Will Receive:

  • 50 hr. Of Credited TCM Theory—Certificate upon completion.

  • Live Online Webinar Modules —The most comprehensive training.

Who Is This For?

Anyone studying Chinese Medicine should know this information—particularly students of Qigong.

Much of the practical theory and essential knowledge that makes Chinese Medicine so remarkable is noticeably missing from most Qigong educational programs.

All of our TCM Theory courses are taught by a master instructor who holds doctoral level training in both Medical Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

An expert in both aspects of Chinese Medicine, he is experienced and fluent in the theory and relevant applications most important to your education.

Students have reported year after year at how these courses have taken their understanding and practice to new levels.

Building On Progressive Training

Theory 1 covers the essentials of a solid foundation and explores applications of assessment and remediation protocols. The material covered here is indispensable to the practitioner of Medical Qigong.

Theory 2 builds upon the foundations and dives deep into more complex theory as well as nuanced applications for the more advanced practitioner. You will also receive training in practical clinical skills (“The Art of the Patient Intake,” etc.).
