Each year, Red Thread Institute opens its doors to the public to receive Medical Qigong treatments from senior students in the Medical Qigong Clinical program.

These treatments are donation based* and no one is turned away for lack of funds.

Appointments, however, are required.

The energetic healing modality of Medical Qigong is a comprehensive system of personal health care rooted in Chinese Medicine.

Qigong can provide significant health benefit and relief to patients with acute or severe chronic conditions, and everything in between.

Our annual wellness event is a great way for people to come experience this unique and profound medicine—and to feel better while passing goodwill on to others!

*Donations are voluntary & can be made at your appointment. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Red Thread Institute is a 501(c)(3) Public Benefit Organization.

100% of proceeds from the event are donated to local charitable organizations & may be eligible for charitable giving tax deduction.

Questions Answered:

    • Appointments are required (a waitlist will be available once the schedule is full).

    • Allow for 90 minutes for your session.

    • Please be on time for your appointment (arriving 10 minutes prior is recommended)

    • Wear comfortable clothing. You will be lying on a treatment table in a communal environment during your session.

    • Please refrain from wearing perfume, cologne or strong scented oils. Respect for those with tightened sensitivities is appreciated.

    • Treatments are community style in the Kiva. While efforts to afford personal privacy have been put into place treatments will be conducted in a single room “community style” under the observation of our Medical Qigong Certification program instructors.

    • Medical Qigong is a non-invasive energetic medical practice. Treatments, however, can be quite cathartic—it is advisable to leave room in your schedule for post-session reflection and integration.
