  • This course covers foundational “Five Element” (五行 wuxing) theory, history, cosmological influences, and the significance of corresponding relationships within the practice of Chinese medicine.

    In this course we will also examine the “Five Element“ model in relationship to clinical diagnostics and applications (physical, emotional, psychosomatic, & archetype), influences within interpersonal communications and relationships, and also the significance within personal cultivation practices (内丹 neidan).

    This course is taught by our master instructor (a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Doctor of Medical Qigong).

    These course is conducted over 4 live online sessions and you can attend from anywhere in the world with an internet connection (live sessions are held in Mountain Time Zone, USA.)

  • This course is designed for anyone with a desire to learn and with an interest in Chinese medicine theory, cosmology, or personal cultivation practices.

    This course will be of particular value to students and practitioners of Qigong and Chinese medicine.

    The depth and breadth of the material will excite both the novice and the advanced student. And all will leave with applicable and practical skills that will serve not only a life practice—but the practice of life (being human) itself.

    This is all accomplished through live interactive webinars and direct access to a master instructor.

Topics Covered:

Within this course, the theory, historical context, significance within Chinese Medicine, and the cosmological implications of Wuxing / Five Elements will be discussed:

  • Modern vs. archaic models will be examined and investigated.

  • The overarching correspondences and relationships within the framework of the elemental concepts will be explored and expanded.

  • The understood cycles of elemental relationships will be examined, dissected, and—for some—turned on their head.

  • The notion of constitutional factors, human physical attributes, and personalities will be considered (i.e. emotional habituation patterning).

  • Otherwise not discussed “cross-elemental” patterning and manifestations will be uncovered.

  • Dysfunction, diagnostics, and redemption of the human condition in context to the elemental natures will be pondered.

  • Personal cultivation and how the model of TCM has misunderstood the “Five Element” model all together will be exposed.
